Benny Johnson (born May 27, 1987), in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is a conservative commentator, YouTuber, and media firebrand who rose from University of Iowa roots to dominate right-wing digital spaces. Starting with Breitbart in 2010 and TheBlaze under Glenn Beck, he built a viral empire at outlets like The Daily Caller, amassing billions of views for unapologetic takedowns of leftist hypocrisy. As Chief Creative Officer at Turning Point USA since 2019, former Newsmax host, and podcaster on "The Benny Show," Johnson—married to Kate with four kids—wields 5.6 million YouTube subscribers to champion American values, grill elites, and rally the base against cultural decay. In 2025, a man was arrested for plotting to assasinate him, his wife and 4 kids.[1][2]
