Pyrotechnics

Pyrotechnics is a field of science involving the use of fire in conjunction with chemical reactions to produce a desired effect.
Pyrotechnics includes, but is not limited to:
- Fireworks
- Rocketry
- The use of smoke for special effects
- Flares such as fusees, road flares, and signal flares
- Matches are a form of pyrotechnics
- Automobile air bags use a pyrotechnic device in their deployment
