Live Earth is a series of political fundraisers organized by Kevin Wall and Al Gore featuring live popular music. They were scheduled for July 7th 2007 in New York and nine other cities worldwide.
The point of the concerts is to convince people of the Liberal claim that there is a "climate crisis" and to "motivate corporations and political leaders to enact decisive measures to combat [it]." [1]
