Slur
This is an old revision of this page, as edited by Ed Poor (talk | contribs) at 14:29, July 13, 2007. It may differ significantly from current revision.
A slur is an insulting or perjorative label, often applied to political or ideological opponents or a villified group or social class.
A historical example of a slur is "carpetbagger," a term applied by white Southerners to Northerners who moved south after the Civil War.
