Eastern hemisphere

An eastern hemisphere is any hemisphere in a celestial body that is east of a conventional prime meridian. In the case of the planets of the Solar System, the position of a planet's eastern hemisphere is based on which pole of that planet has been north of the ecliptic plane during recorded written human history.
