Godless Liberal is a term describing liberals who are atheists, or who insist on purging spirituality and all references to God from public life.
Although attached with negative tone's, both Liberals and conservatives tend to use it in a joking manner with no genuine animosity implied. George Cloony regularly describes himself as a 'Godless Liberal' in a joking manner.
