Salvation

Salvation is the belief in one's soul being saved from the eternal torments of Hell.Christianity and the beliefe in Jesus Christ is the one true way of acheiving salvation in the afterlife. However since the advant of modern liberalism many people search for salvation in different religions. Most notably are eastern religions which rely on personal meditation and materialism. These way are regarded as fleeting and vain as they often need to be repeated to achieve the sense of well being and safety. The belief in Jesus as the Son of God and accepting Him as your Savior is a one time event and the soul is comforted for the rest of the persons natural life after accepting Him, people no longer feel empty and do not feel the need to seek worldly possesions to fill their lives. In this example, one can see the truth of Christianity over other doctrines of belief.
