Reasonable belief doctrine

Reasonable belief doctrine is a limitation on claims for retaliation filed under Title VI: the employee who sues for retaliation must show that she had a reasonable, good faith belief that her initial complaint about discrimination was legitimate in order to recover for retaliation in response to her complaint.
