Masada

This is an old revision of this page, as edited by BrianCo (talk | contribs) at 15:09, August 1, 2007. It may differ significantly from current revision.

Masada refers to a fortress on a rock plateau in Israel built by Herod. Jewish Zealots took it, and held it for 2+ years. Once Romans captured it, the Zealots killed themselves rather than be prisoners.
