Oregon

Oregon is a West-Coast state in America's northwest known to be a hotbed of liberalism and methamphetamine (speed) production and abuse. It is culturally, economically and socially distant from most of the rest of the United States save for San Francisco, Seattle and Boston/Provincetown. It's main industry is agriculture, particularly dairy farming, forestry and fishery resource extraction. John Kerry carried Oregon in his crushing 2004 presidential campaign defeat.[1]
