Barack Obama is a Democratic Senator from Illinois, elected to the United States Senate in 2004 after serving as a state Senator. He is a candidate and Democtratic front-runner for the 2008 United States Presidential election. Obama has a Doctorate Of Laws from Harvard Univerity and a BA from Columbia University. Until he entered politics in the 1990's, he was a Professor at the University Of Chicago.
