Common in modern business practices, a resume is a written record outlying previous job and educational experiences a job seeker submits to a prospective employer. It is typically one page long.
A CV, on the other hand, is common for job seekers in research and academia. It is much more extensive than a resume, and outlines various research topics and relevant courses that a job seeker has completed.
