Guildford

Guildford (pronounced Gillfud) is the county town of Surrey, south-east England. It is the home of the University of Surrey, founded in 1966[1]. Guildford has a ruined fourteenth century castle[2], and a modern Anglican cathedral, consecrated in 1961[3]. The population of Guildford is 129,701[4].
