Washington Wizards

The Washington Wizards are a professional basketball team of the NBA based in Washinton DC. The "Wizards" were founded 1961, moving to Washinton in 1973 and play in the Southeast Division of the Eastern Conference at the Verizon Center. They were named the Bullets until 1995, but were renamed because of concerns over violent crime levels in Washington DC.
They won the NBA Championship once, in 1978.
