Manga

Manga is a term for the style of art found in many Japanese comic books and anime. It literally means "comic". Distinctive characteristics include oversized eyes and tiny mouths and noses. Manga has become popular in the US, and manga about almost anything can be found here now. Manga includes every genre found in American movies and writing, as well as unusual type stuff like mecha or giant robot manga and the harem comedy genre.
Manga is often printed in the original Japanese language format. This means that many manga read from right to left, unlike American comics. This is often confusing to first-time readers.
