A novel in the Harry Potter series by JK Rowling. Harry believes that an escaped criminal named Sirius Black is trying to murder. But Black ends up being innocent and he discovers that the person who betrayed his parents was another man named Peter Pettigrew, who Black had supposedly murdered but had faked his own death and was disguised as the pet rat of Harry's friend Ron Weasley.
