Jose Padilla

Jose Padilla is a terrorist who was convicted [1] of supporting Al-Qaeda. He is responsible for gathering information necessary to detonate a dirty bomb in the United States. He was originally arrested in 2002 after traveling to the middle east and was quickly declared an enemy combatant and transferred to the Guantanamo Bay terrorist detention facility. The ACLU and other liberal groups attempted to have Padilla released [2] on the grounds that he was a United States citizen, ignoring the fact that he conspired with America's enemies to kill American citizens.
