Don Imus

Don Imus is an American radio talk-show host, known for his "shock jock" speaking manner. Many prominent politicians appeared on his show. Senator John Kerry was a regular on the program.
An organization called Media Matters for America[1] publicized some offensive comments[2] from his show about the appearance of the Rutgers and Tennessee female basketball team players that some people perceived as playing on gender and racial stereotypes. Liberal activists Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson joined in, and said that the comments were offensive. On April 12th 2007, CBS canceled Don Imus's show.
