Kyle Eckel is a National Football League fullback for the New England Patriots. He entered the NFL in 2005 when he was signed as a undrafted free agent by the Patriots[1] before being cut by the team and later signed by the Miami Dolphins[2]. He spent the 2006 season on the Dolphins practice squad and played in no regular season games. On September 3, 2007, the Patriots signed Eckel to their practice squad[3].
