Nanotechnology

Nanotechnology is any science or technology that works at the molecular level. One example of nanotechnology is the creation of tiny robots capable of manipulating individual molecules of a substance. Some science fiction novels such as Greg Bear's Slant postulate a future shaped by nanotechnology with the complexity of life.
