Hell

Hell (from the Hebrew "sheol") is a Christian afterlife where the wicked are punished eternally for all the sins they perpetrated during their lifetime on Earth. The only way to avoid hell is to know, love, and serve the Lord. Also: Where we're dining tonight. According to french writer Jean-Paul Sartre, Hell is other people.
According to Christian tradition, hell is extremely hot and filled with fire and brimstone. The Devil, also known as Satan, along with a host of demons, lives there and torments the damned.
