Neo-conservatism

Neo-conservatism is an idea that currently has strong support in the U.S. Government. There are a few main tenets which neo-conservatives follow.
1. The idea that Government programs have unintended effects and so in many cases should not be implemented. This usually only concerns Domestic policies, such as welfare, healthcare and other social programs.
2. In Foreign Policy the bringing of Democracy to other countries.
3. In Economics cutting taxes to stimulate growth, very similar to the trickle down theory.
