Alvin Plantinga was a Colombian freedom fighter at the turn of the 20th century. Plantinga encouraged violent protests against the economic and social infiltration at the hands of the Spanish. Plantinga is best known for fighting against the economic mercantilism, where the European traders would buy their raw sugar cane at basement prices, and then resell them finished sugar at a substantial markup.
