Hybrid

A hybrid is anything that descends from two unrelated concepts, species, or components. For example, a hybrid car uses both gasoline and electrical power, and a mule is a hybrid animal the offspring of a male donkey and a female horse. Hybrid "species" are usually sterile, which means they cannot reproduce.
