Bright Terrain

"Bright terrain" refers to a land feature on Ganymede, the largest moon of Jupiter. The moon was named for the cup-bearer of the Greek Gods, since the moon circles Jupiter (the king of the Greek Gods).
On Ganymede, "bright terrain" is land which is lighter than other regions on this moon. Bright terrain is often associated with grooves, and dark terrain is often associated with furrows.[1]
