Carl Jung was a psychologist who sought to explain much of human psychology through mythology and by noting humanity's use of a startlingly unified symbology, even across-cultures. He wrote a book, "Man and his Symbols,"[1] to explain as much, and his work was heavily influential on Joseph Campbell, who also examined similar topics.
