A zebra is a horse-like creature with black and white stripes making it surprisingly camouflaged at a distance. There are three main species in Africa:

  • plains zebras
  • mountain zebras
  • grevy's zebras

The plains and mountain zebras are not territorial, but the grevy zebras are.
