CAMP

This is an old revision of this page, as edited by TheGoodSociety (talk | contribs) at 19:47, November 19, 2007. It may differ significantly from current revision.

cAMP is cylic form of the nucleotide Adenine-monophosphate. It is a common secondary messenger in cellular signal transduction pathways.

Quotations

  • The adenine-ribose combination is seen frequently enough to get a simpler name adenosine. This battery pack is called cyclic adenosine mono phosphate (mono because there is just one phosphate) or cAMP. [1]
