Cardiff (Welsh: Caerdydd) is the capital and largest city in the Principality of Wales; a constituent country of the United Kingdom.
It is a major UK city and centre for government control of Wales. The National Assembly for Wales is located in Cardiff Bay.
Cardiff has a historic castle.
