Left Behind

Left Behind is a novel by Tim Lahaye and Jerry Jenkins that deals with the Rapture of all who believe in Jesus and prepares sets the seeds for the coming Tribulation and the rise of the Anti-Christ.

Surprisingly for Christian works, the book struck a chord with the Christian community and sold over 15,000,000 copies. It spawned an entire Left Behind series of twelve books all the way through Christ's return. The entire series sold over 63 million books.

The series has been criticized by many, mostly due to the hyper-dispensationalist bias that it takes. However, critics usually fail to point out why the book is wrong and how their anti-dispensationalist viewpoint is correct. At any rate, most criticisms are based on personal biases, not actual evidence, biblical or otherwise.
