The Rome-Berlin Axis was a coalition formed by Italy and Germany. It was by prepared by Galeazzo Ciano, Italy’s Foreign Minister. The agreement linked the two fascist countries informally on October 25, 1936. It was made formal by the Pact of Steel three years later.
