V is the 22nd letter of the Latin alphabet.

In science, an uppercase "V" is the abbreviation for the volt. As a variable, a lowercase "v" often represents velocity.

In Roman numerals, V is the symbol for the number five.

V is also the title of a novel by Thomas Pyncheon, published in 1963.
