Seal

A seal is a marine animal that lives on land and in water. Although generally viewed as kind or fun creatures, seals in reality can be quite vicious.
In legal terminology, to seal is to mark a document with a seal; to authenticate or make binding by affixing a seal. As a noun in legal terminology, a seal is a court seal or a corporate seal.
