Michael Jackson is a world famous pop icon and entertainer who is often refered to as "The King of Pop". He started off in with his brothers in the musical group sensation Jackson Five in the 1970s and continued to have a hugely successful career in the 1980`s and 1990`s. He has released some of the best selling albums of all time including Thriller (1982), Bad (1997) and Dangerous (1991). Thriller itself is the best selling album of all time worldwide with sales of 104 million copies.

Jackson has redefined the music video into an art form will examples that include Thriller, Billie Jean, Beat It, Bad, Black or White, Remember The Time, Scream and Earthsong. He has released the most popular music video of all time (Thriller) and the most expensive music video of all time (scream) which as also recieved critical acclaim.

He was badly burned during a Pepsi commercial. His marriage to Lisa Marie Presley resulted in the birth of one child who was subsequently dangled out of a hotel window by Michael Jackson. Michael Jackson made loads of money from his musical career and built a compound called Neverland. He has settled out of court child molestation charges.

One of his sisters is Janet Jackson who dated Emilio Estevez.
