Gene

Template:StubA section of DNA that codes for the production of a protein or a portion of a protein. The gene is the fundamental unit of heredity. Although the gene is the fundamental unit of heredity, changes in genes cannot explain the differences between species, which most Christians think require an Intelligent Designer[1].
