Homosexual act

The term homosexual act can be applied to any romantic or erotic interaction between persons of the same sex. Attitudes towards such acts vary from culture to culture, and from individual to individual. Although some claim that such acts are forbidden by religious texts such as the Bible and the Qur'an, references to and records of sexual relations between persons of the same sex exist for almost every human civilisation throughout history.
