Four Last Things

The Four Last Things in Roman Catholicism are death, judgment, Heaven and Hell. This denies there is a reincarnation, as believed in Hinduism. Rather, in Christianity everyone is judged immediately after death.
The Latin term for this is novissima, meaning "the newest things."
