Democratic Party

A somewhat degrading euphemism for the Democratic Party. Although the term is often used in even the mainstream media, liberals and Democrats take offense to it[1]. Generally, only highly partisan Democrats will take offense to the term.
The term is criticized for being factually and grammatically incorrect, as Democrat is a noun.
Note that referring to a member of the Democratic Party as a "Democrat" is considered acceptable.
