Angelo R. Liteky was a Catholic Priest serving in Vietnam as a chaplain when he was awarded the Medal of Honor for his actions. His citation states that he carried over twenty wounded men to safety during a savage battle with Vietnamese forces. Much of the time Fr. Liteky was exposed to direct fire by enemy forces.
