Medians

An Ancient Indo European population that originated from central Asia. They became well know from destroying the Assyrian empire and settling Northern mesopotamia along with there Aramiac speaking Babylonian allies in the 7th century BC.
Modern Usage Many modern Kurds identify with the Medians.
