Xenophobia

Xenophobia, from the Greek ξένος (xénos, foreign) + φόβος (phobos, fear). A fear of that which is inherently other. Xenophobia is inherent in human history and human nature to some degree.[1] Examples of xenophobia are evident in common American culture, such as the fear of the influx of Mexican culture in the border states.
Technically, xenophobia is not racism; racism is however a manifestation of xenophobia.
