Theophany

Theophany is derived from the Greek^[1], and it is defined as a visible manifestation of God, or an appearance of God to a person. There are many examples of theophany in the Bible, such as:

Exod. 3:1-4:17 - God appearing to Moses

Exod. 24:9-11 - God appearing to the Elders of Israel

John 20:24-29 - Jesus appearing to Thomas after the resurrection

Acts 9:3-9 - Jesus appearing to Paul
