I thought the canal was closed by Egypt due to their skuttling of ships in the canal, not a blockade. Also, if the allowing of Israeli ships into the canal in 1979 was due to the peace treaty between Egypt and Israel, then that should be mentioned. Learn together 23:09, 3 March 2008 (EST)
