Goy

This is an old revision of this page, as edited by Ed Poor (talk | contribs) at 13:08, March 12, 2008. It may differ significantly from current revision.

"Goy" (Hebrew: גוי) literally means "nation", with the plural being "Goyim".[1]

In more recent times, the word has been used as slang by Jewish people to refer to non-Jews.

Notes

  1. ↑ It is used by God countless times throughout the Tanakh, sometimes even when referring to Israel.
