Mensheviks

The Mensheviks ("White Russians") was a Marxist group in Russia around the time of its communist revolution, which wanted to base the revolution on popular support. The Mensheviks lost out to the more radical Bolsheviks ("Reds").
The chief Menshevik was Julius Martov.
