Andrea Dworkin (1946-2005) was a prominent feminist writer best known for her opposition to pornography on the grounds that it provides men with fantasies of degrading, humiliating and controlling women. She expressed hostility toward men and called herself a lesbian, yet lived with and married a homosexual man.
