Impressionism

Impressionism was an art movement of the 19th century that began in Paris. It is characterized by a light color scheme and noticeable brushstrokes. Impressionist painters focused more on the feeling of a picture rather than details. The most famous impressionist artist was Claude Monet. This new style also spread to music and literature.
