Avril Lavigne (born September 27, 1984) is a popular Canadian pop singer. She released her first album, Let Go, at the the age of 17. To date, she has released three albums.
The first single, "Girlfriend", off her third album, is possibly her biggest hit, gathering over 60 million views on the website YouTube.
The lyrics of many of the songs off her third album has much more obscene language than the first two, putting it into the adult pop genre of music.
