Charles Darwin was born in England on February 12, 1809. He is the founder of the theory of Evolution. After spending some time on the Galapagos Islands and studying the animals there he came up with his theory of “natural selection” and published The Origin of Species in 1859. Darwin was originally a Christian but later in life his faith eroded.
