Teesside

Teesside is a conurbation of north-east England located on the estuary of the River Tees. It includes the towns of Stockton on Tees, Middlesbrough, Billingham and Redcar. The area is noted for heavy industry, particularly in steel and chemicals manufacture, and is the location of the University of Teesside.
